I have attempted to start a thread about the influence of unclean spirits but some would rather discuss the "Last Days" or the final time. For those interested in the last days of the world before G-d reigns - please feel free to use this thread.

I will begin by asking the question - Why do the scriptures speak of the "Last Days" if we are not to know when it will occur? Some say that no man will know the hour or the day but I believe that is a misunderstanding of an ancient medifore. I present that the saints of G-d will be prepaired to welcome the Messiah and that when he comes will be no surprise.

We do know when the Last Days will occur. Now. Really, since the time Jesus went back to be with the Father, we have been in the last days. Jesus said to be ready, that his return is imminent. So, God's people should indeed be ready--always ready--"in season and out of season."

It is true we don't know the exact year, day, time and moment of His arrival. However; we are told to watch, pray and be ready. I feel that if we are watchers we will know when it is truly upon us.

There are some that say when He will be arriving (and I seem to lean towards their thoughts). If these seem to be correct we really don't have much time left to get ready.

There have been things stated that I don't know being new here if it is appropriate to bring up. These are things seen as signs of the times.

I have heard of some very assume things happening. It isn't all doom and gloom that will be happening.

I like to always say- Get ready, get set, Here He Comes!

Analogy: Pregnacy

Planned C-sections aside, you don't know when the baby will come, but you can sure tell when the time is close. The baby is not coming when you first notice your periods have stopped. The baby is not coming when your belly is barely showing. When you're really, really big, when your belly button is flat, when you waddle, when you get sporadic contractions, then you can assume the baby will come soon. When the baby drops into your hips, when contractions come regularly and frequently, when your water breaks, then you know the time is really, really close. But how long will labor last?

On the pregancy scale, I'd guess we're in the last month. Lots of signs have been seen, but there is yet much to go. In pregnancy, the last weeks are the toughest. So it is with waiting for the Second Coming of Christ.
