Christos Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 Death has no purpose, that is why Christ defeated it.1Cr 15:26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.Death has a purpose, that is why Christ defeated it. Death is what seperates us from God. It is destruction. In effect, hell. The seperation from God and life eternal. One must remember the difference between Earthly death and eternal death.I would write more to clarify but I have college tomorrow and it is 1:22am here. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Jo 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. Christos Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 exactly :) It is really late here (again) and I am not sure if I have an external exam tomorrow. If you ever get the choice to send your children to a british school.....don't! I swear, if I didn't have a reason to live, other than my education...I would have commited suicide by now. Just four more weeks to go. When I get out of education I think I'll go and join a monastery...that is my ideal life. :) (well, something of the sort anyway...I hate the rat race style of life. Life is for living, not for working) But no! I have to go to university . Quote
Ray Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Death is part of the Plan of Salvation........Yes. The plan of salvation was presented to save us from death, and allow us to live like God. Quote
Lindy Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Death is just another step we have to take towards our eternal life. ... Unless we are those who are taken "in the blink of an eye"..... we need death to achieve life. Quote
