Guest Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Actually if I want romantics I'll talk to my fiancée. Hah! Trying to accumulate points now, I see... good, good. You need a pile of those to placate her when you mess up. :D:D Quote

Wingnut Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 One who you said I was wasting my time on in a particular thread. Did I? Probably. It was also probably related directly to the fact that you're pre-mission. But you still have a girlfriend, which still means that you probably aren't interested in being hooked up with Dravin's future sister-in-law.But he does have a point. Quote
Wingnut Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Well he is Mormon... Thanks. I needed a good belly laugh. Quote

Wingnut Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Okay, if not pre-mission, then probably that you're both teens in a long-distance cross-country relationship and have never met in person. Actually, if my words were actually "wasting time," then I'm guessing that it was because you've been exclusive for 2-3 years, yet, as I just mentioned, it's a long-distance relationship and you haven't actually met each other. The use of the words "waste" referred to your choosing not to casual date, as counseled by the prophets. I still think that you've wasted away teenage dating years, but I will definitely admit that I was surprised when I learned (some months ago) that you're only 19 years old, because you portray yourself as older and much more mature than that. Close. Also the disregarding counsel thing was something I considered but I had an exception granted from HF after lots of prayer. So it all works out. The choice to do this takes a lot more maturity and effort than casual dating would, I can guarantee that. Probably why there's a rule and few exceptions.
