grantstine
Thanks. But that is not it. I think that it says the gospel or words of christ became or was" delicious to me" ????

Dravin
Thanks. But that is not it. I think that it says the gospel or words of christ became or was" delicious to me" ????The only time the word delicious appears in the Book of Mormon is the scripture I referenced (No, I didn't skim through the entire book, I used the search feature at the Church's scriptures website here ). classylady
I haven't found "delicious to your soul", but I've found "joyous to the soul" in 1 Nephi 11: 21-23 it says: "21. And the angel said unto me: Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! Knowest thou the meaning of the tree which thy father saw? 22. And I answered him, saying: Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things. 23. And he spake unto me, saying: Yea, and the most joyous to the soul." I'll continue searching and see if I can find anything with delicious to the soul, but I'm thinking this is close to what you're thinking. This is in reference to the Tree of Life, and how the fruit is desirable.
grantstine
Thanks for your searching. I hope to find it. I am at the end of the book of mormon, and reading the doctrine and covenants next. I will then start to read the book of mormon from the start again. Once i find it i will post the scripture. Like many scriptures this has meaning to me. Thanks. Still_Small_Voice
I was also thinking of the scripture Dravin posted in Alma 32:28 (a very good scripture might I add). Here is something else from the Tree of Life vision in I Nephi 8: 11 And it came to pass that I did go forth and partake of the fruit thereof; and I beheld that it was most sweet, above all that I ever before tasted. Yea, and I beheld that the fruit thereof was white, to exceed all the whiteness that I had ever seen.12 And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy; wherefore, I began to be desirous that my family should partake of it also; for I knew that it was desirable above all other fruit.
