When I looked at this billboard I saw it as all billboards, actors portraying a "point" to get a message across. The reality is many believe abortion to be killing a child. The reality is the father has no legal say in what happens to his child before it is born. Even after father's have to fight for their rights in many situations. Those are both major and very real issues that need addressed. I thought it was a very good billboard for pointing out those facts. If it were some random actor would anyone be objecting? Did he commission the billboard? Did he "apply for the job" because the issue was close to his heart feeling like his rights were violated? Most people that volunteer or apply to be part of such campaigns usually do so because it is close to them. There is nothing that names her or identifies either of them. He posed for a picture for an add that fights for issues that are close to his heart.... people do that all the time. Why that issue is close to him is his personal issue.

Her mistake was throwing a fit and outing herself, making it a media issue. I guess I'm in the minority with the reaction of "oh well" she is the one making herself look bad. How many people would have really seen this add to begin with, now that it's all over the news everyone will see it. I'm sure the sponsors are thrilled. Now the issues will be part of a lot of discussion, that was the idea.

Does this set a bad precedent? Can every young woman who poses for teen pregnancy prevention adds get sued by ex boyfriends who are afraid they are giving them a potentially bad reputation? Can every actor that poses for herpes treatment adds be sued by ex's who are now afraid people will think they too have an STD now?
