Retros711
I am new to your site, and found your blogs interesting to say the least. Don't throw caution to the winds, it sometime comes back to haunt you. The Prophits have told us since the begining to prepare there is nothing sinister abot obeying the Commandments. With love and graditude to all that you do, I hope you do not take offense at my words. AVOW members are not doomsday prophets, simply those folks who wish to be preoared and part of that is through practice and due diligence. NeuroTypical
AVOW members are not doomsday prophets, simply those folks who wish to be preoared and part of that is through practice and due diligence. It's not the 'simply wishing to be prepared' that gets me, it's the attitude and judgements I've seen leveled against people who don't believe in the same details you do. Like the notion of a "callout". And the notion that people having to walk to the rocky mountains and live in tents for a year is revealed truth. I hear some of you believe that area authorities and maybe even Stake Presidents and Bishops are aware of callout plans and planning accordingly.I've watched two different AVOW callout dates given, only to watch the dates pass. Tell me, do you folks have a date currently? Finally, from what I've seen, y'all are incredibly resistant to hearing specific, direct counsel from living church leaders currently speaking about your notions. Plenty of bishops, numerous stake presidents, and at least two area authorities are on record reinforcing the church's counsel that saints should gather themselves into stakes wherever they may live, and flat out denouncing the notion that the church has any plans for a callout. I've watched you folks shrug that counsel off with a dismissive wave and maybe a few messenger-shooting accusations of unrighteousness. You are welcome here, Retros, as long as you are civil. I would bring your attention to site rule #3 (the site rule that tends to get passionate AVOW people escorted to the door pretty quickly):3. Personal attacks, name calling, flaming, and judgments against other members will not be tolerated. You wanna talk about ways to store water, or live off the grid, or discuss lists of every needful thing we need to prepare, you are welcome here. I personally prefer a Glock 26 drawn from a left-hand rear-facing IWB holster. How about you? Ever been to Front Sight? I'm a big fat guy - what sort of physical fitness routine do you recommend for someone expecting hard times? What's in your bug-out-bag? I hope you enjoy your time here, and I hope we'll get along better than I have with prior AVOW enthusaists.
