Mr Revenant Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 All 4 or 5 of my posts are gone!? Were they offensive in some way? I try to not post outside of LDS doctrine when sharing my opinions. Is there anyway to get them back? I posted on the thread about the woman who killed her babies and then that whole thread vanished and now all my other posts have gone missing also. Update: Marsha just told me that they were deleted for having more than one account. I only have this account. I've only been here a few days and was not aware multiple accounts were possible. HELP! About the post that you are talking about above, yours is still there, it was moved to the Open Discussion Forum. You have to PM Heathe and get permission to view that particular forum.I will PM you the names of the other ID's posting under the same ISP as you are.Marsha Quote
Mr Revenant Posted August 4, 2006 Author Report Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks. Ya, I've never heard of those names. I hope I can be taken off this moderator preview status. And thanks for telling me how to get to the other posts! Quote
Mr Revenant Posted August 4, 2006 Author Report Posted August 4, 2006 Hi again all. I was asking around trying to find out why I'm on this supervised status and I was informed that "mod status" is a measure of punishment when people post crude things or things that are against the rules. Have I broken a rule? I'm still on moderator status. Quote
Marsha Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Hi again all. I was asking around trying to find out why I'm on this supervised status and I was informed that "mod status" is a measure of punishment when people post crude things or things that are against the rules. Have I broken a rule? I'm still on moderator status. The moderated status is because of several, not one or two, ID's posting from the same ISP. We have discussed it and for now this is the way it has to be. I do apologize, but there are "holes" in some of your messages to the moderators. Such as using the Library computer, ok well more than one member COULD post from the same library, but not so late at night when the libraries are closed. HmmmmmmmmMarsha Quote
Mr Revenant Posted August 5, 2006 Author Report Posted August 5, 2006 I can understand if there have been problems and the site is just being cautious. If I need to be on this status for a few days or so then I can support that. As for me using the library computer thats true. I dont own a computer. I do however do have friends with computers that I can use. I'm saving up to get my own computer and I'm nearly there! Just a few more weeks and I should be able to get my very own. It will be my very first time to own my own computer!! yay! Anyways, I am glad you told me why I'm on this mod status and I'm glad that it wont last forever. Quote
