Scarlet Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) I converted to LDS from Baptist religion when I was 16 have taught in primary from the beginning been in primary stake as secretary, RS secretary, young women President (which I was totally inept at Probably would have been better if I had received some training as requested) :confused:back to the primary and then on a service mission in the church for 2 years which was my favorite calling and really found my place in the church and something I was wonderful at. Well My Husband and I were just called home. My husband went to the stake and I to Gospel Doctrine class. I sometimes wonder. What was Heavenly Father thinking :blink:when he gave me this calling? I have learned Heavenly Father like you to step out of your comfort zone and mix it up a bit. So from now on I am never saying again publicly or private or thinking in my head because then I know for sure Heavenly father will give me that calling for sure. I have a testimony of this Gospel; I have never regretted changing my religion. I am grateful that I know that Heavenly Father is aware of us. That He lives. I am grateful everyday that we have a Prophet and leaders to guide us. So we can find our way back to him. I am grateful for the promptings and the way I get answers to my prayers. I say this in Jesus Christ name amen Scarlet Edited August 30, 2011 by Scarlet Grammer Quote

bytebear Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 welcome. It's amazing how Heavenly Father knows just when you have mastered a calling He pulls you out and throws you right back into uncharted waters. Quote
