lizzy16 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 So, in my education class the teacher mentioned Jesus Christ being the master teacher. What are your thoughts on this? Quote
Dravin Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 What specifically was being pointed out? I'm assuming your teacher didn't just throw out the superlative and leave it at that. Quote
Madriglace Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Gave a talk on this last month I think. What he taught is life altering to say the least but how he taught is just as important. He taught by example and love. He made his point simply so everyone could understand and he was very very careful never to infringe on our agency. Quote
TStevieRob Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 His teachings are a direct guideline and example for ours. Quote
Traveler Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) So, in my education class the teacher mentioned Jesus Christ being the master teacher. What are your thoughts on this? There is no master without disciples and there is no teacher without students. The concept of determining a master is very much dependent on the master being able to replicate their skills in their disciples - those that do not believe we can ever really become like Jesus Christ - really do not believe or have faith that he is their true master. The Traveler Edited January 15, 2012 by Traveler Quote
