Jennerz Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 (edited) I just joined this forum yesterday so I thought I would drop in and say hello and introudcue myself. I am not Mormon ATM but I am very seriously thinking about it. My BF is Mormon we have discussed it a little bit in the last day or so. I look forward to getting to know about the Mormon Religion and of course I will probably have tons of questions :) So be patient with me! One of my big questions is I am Catholic (not practicing at all) what would I need to do about things? Who di I speak with I just want to be well prepared for when I do talk to him. Thanks in advance. Jen Edited May 3, 2012 by Jennerz Quote
pam Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 I would recommend making an appointment with the local missionaries and start there. Quote

nickye Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 There are two sites you can visit that are good sources of information. 1) lds.org is the church's official website. 2) mormon.org is a site specifically for people interested in knowing more about the gospel Quote
Sicily510 Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Welcome!! It's always a pleasure to meet non-members it's almost like greeting a new born but not a baby.LOL.... I'm excited to read your discussions as you prepare. Best wishes and enjoy this website, it's really awesome. :) Quote
JoshK Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 Jen, It's a pleasure to meet you! My wife was Catholic and I was Lutheran, both of us were baptised into the Church on the same wonderful night. I would encourage you, as everyone else has, to meet the local missionaries. No need to prepare, except maybe read a bit of the Book of Mormon, pray, and be happy! Conversion is a wonderful process and it is most appreciated if you take your time and really get a chance to feel the Spirit and learn about the Gospel. I look forward to your questions and thoughts! Best of luck to you on this journey! Josh Quote
