Curbing was only a word used for concete trim that was placed around grass in your yard to keep it looking clean and crisp.

This last weekend I learned of another meaning of the word curbing.

Yes I have heard that as well, but here it means stomping on someone’s arm on a curb breaking it.

It is rumored that it was some of his 'friends' who did this too him. My heart goes out to this family. My son was also injured with a brain injury at 17.

I didn't read the link so sorry if this is redundant. When I was in High-School I was told that "curbing" was when you made the person bite the curb and then the person would stomp on the back of the head/neck of that person. It was a skin head activity.

Hello Dr. T,

What state did you go to high school and how long ago was that. This is the same activity you describe but it is done by friends. I had not heard of it before last weekend and this is in my state. I heard that this activity was shown on the violent movie "Fight Club" which I won't see.
