dwdkem Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 I am new to the site and wasn't sure if this was the appropriate way to go about this, but I will ask anyway. I am newly widowed (wife passed away a year ago) I have three kids 7 and under and starting med school. I am looking for a part time Nanny and wanted her to be LDS, but don't really know how to go about posting for something like that. If there is anyone who knows the best way to do that or where to look I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks. Quote
annewandering Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 hmmm talk to a nanny agency. LDS women are very favored as nannies so they would definitely be able to help you. Quote

Guest Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 If there are any colleges nearby, you might also contact the local Institute of Religion and see if there's a way you could advertise there. Quote
dwdkem Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Posted June 28, 2012 Thanks, any suggestions on those... the ones I have contacted were difficult to get information like religion on. Quote
dwdkem Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Posted June 28, 2012 great idea Eowyn, I think there is an institute not far from where I am Quote
Iggy Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 Talk to the RS President at your Ward/Branch. OR the Employment Specialist. Quote

applepansy Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 I'm so sorry you've lost your companion. I hope you're able to find the person you're looking for. My neighbor used to be a nanny. She loved it. Quote
dwdkem Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Posted June 28, 2012 thank you Eowyn. None of these sites list if they are LDS or not. I appreciate your advice and it is very helpful. Quote
dwdkem Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Posted June 28, 2012 thanks apple, its not something we wanted for our kids, but I am sure there are great women that will be a good fit for my kids right now. Quote
