bytor2112 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Because it means you would rather give a false, insincere "apology" for having done nothing wrong than actually face the problem of someone demanding an apology where none is either required or appropriate.I don't know Vort, the Lord doesn't seem to agree with you:24 Go thy way unto thy brother, and first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I will receive you. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly while thou art in the way with him, lest at any time he shall get thee, and thou shalt be cast into prison. Vort Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 I don't know Vort, the Lord doesn't seem to agree with you:24 Go thy way unto thy brother, and first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I will receive you. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly while thou art in the way with him, lest at any time he shall get thee, and thou shalt be cast into prison. How do you figure the Lord doesn't seem to agree with me? Perhaps you can point out where the Lord says to apologize when you're not guilty of wrongdoing. I can't see it. Quote
