I've found comfort in the Book of Mormon!

Hello all!

(This might be all over the place!)

My name is Amanda, I'm 23 and I'm an investigator! I'm in the process of reading the Book of Mormon and I must say over the past few months of struggling to read it thoroughly, I've found a lot of comfort in reading it. I've been wanting to learn more about the Church and it's doctrines. A friend of mine, introduced me to two of the most beautiful missionaries who gave me my copy of the Book of Mormon and I'm glad they did! I've been to church a handful of times and have partaken in Sacrament, but have had to reschedule my baptism because of my shortcomings with the Word of Wisdom. (I'm a heavy smoker...) I'm hoping by joining this forum, I can gain some new insight, learn some and hopefully help others! :)

Anywho, I believe that's enough about me! :)

Hello and Welcome nice 2 meet u. Im glad ur feeling the comfort you need from reading The Book Of Mormon. You might want to ask the elders for a special blessing to help u stop smoking. I never had that problem, but I know many who have. Thou I have problems with other stuff!! We all have stuff...Anyway looking forward to hearing from u again...What part of the world are u in? Im in sunny hot florida.

andd don't feel guilty about smoking. it's a really tough addiction to break and may take time. Wishing you the best in your journey.
