pam Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 Welcome to you. Tell us a little about the church in Kenya. Quote
Flowers Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 Thanks for the warm welcome. The Church in Kenya has really grown. We now have two stakes - we still do not have a temple yet. The nearest temple is in South Africa and almost half of the church members have been there. Quote
Letrell Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Welcome, Flowers! I would love to hear about your Ward. I don't know anyone in Kenya...just what I've seen on TV. I am excited to know you are here. I hope you enjoy your time visiting with everyone! Letrell Quote
Flowers Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 Am glad that you would like to know about my ward. The name of the ward is Riruta, we are in Kenya Nairobi Mission. At the moment I don't have any church calling because I sometimes go to work on Sunday. Our sacrament meeting attendance is about 100 people. Young women / men classes are usually full during school holidays coz most of them attend boarding schools. I love relief society and we have lots of activities on Saturdays. We have two elders from Provo Utah. Our church has also produced a good number of missionaries. Quote
