Bini Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 I'm trying to earn money to pay for Comic Con next year but need to purchase my ticket and make other reservations in advance. Any ideas as to how to earn $600 by the end of September? I'm trying to find a part time cash paying job that will help me do this. I should have saved up for this but I didn't think I'd be going to another one (I went last year) until two of my friends decided to buy tickets on Friday, and now I'm totally wishing I had planned for it! :-/ Quote
Guest Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 My friend makes them and sells them for $7 a dozen to ward members and neighbors when she or her kids need to raise some money. It's usually a weekend of cooking and she does really well. I think she did like 40 dozen this last weekend. Quote

Dravin Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 You have two kidneys right? That means you've got a spare...I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Quote
Bini Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 I do make lumpia but not in awhile. I guess I could cook or bake something and see what money I could raise but we just moved and I don't know any of the folks out here. I could also do homeaide stuff but what I'm seeing online is more of long term work. I'd hate to tell them yes and know that I'm only planning on working a month and a half.. Last time DH paid for it but this time it's on me. Man, it's challenging to figure out how to earn money in a mere 6 weeks or so! Dravin... LOL. Okay, I'm wanting to go to this thing so badly that I've actually thought about selling my iPhone and iPad. My husband was like, "Uh, no." I think that's probably a good call. Quote
