Sunday21 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 I have a copy of the documentary tv series \"Messiah:Behold the Lamb of God\". It was produced by the Neal A. maxwell institute and byutv. This series is amazing. Various byu religion professors visit the holy land and discuss the gospels. Other byu professors give insights into the gospel. Does anyone know of similar series or shows that might be available for purchase or available online? Quote

OldPort Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 My favorite is Nobody Knows: The Untold History of Black Mormons. A brief clip can be seen on youtube- Watching this earlier on in my life would have saved me lot's of struggling. Palerider 1 Quote
Palerider Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 There are others out there too. Truman Madsen has some out and they are very good Quote
Miami Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 PBS Mormons: http://video.pbs.org/video/1460817958/It's definitely not the best, but a documentary of the history of the church. I watched it shortly before my mother invited me to her baptism as I didn't know anything about the church. Quote
The Folk Prophet Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 I really, really enjoy The Joseph Smith papers that airs on KBYU. You can get it on DVD from Deseret Book, I think. A bit pricey. I think you can watch most of them online on KBYU though. At least of Season 1. Quote
