Hello All-

My name is Will.I am a convert to our Church, who was Baptized Feb.of 2004 in the Madison,Wi.1st Ward.

My wife(Maggie-also a convert)now are members of the Appleton,Wi.1st Ward.

Due to physical problems with my right leg/hip-I have not been able to attend Sacrament meetings at our Ward, for over a year.

I recently had a total hip replacement of my right hip, this past January.Unfortunately, there have been

complications after the surgery, which required me to be in a rehabilitation facillity(actually 3 of them),until

this past 3rd of May.

I am home now-but still have to use a walker,as my muscles in my right leg,and lower back are not strong enough,or elastic enought to allow me to walk and perform other normal movements without the walker.

I am experiencing physical therapy, and performing daily exercises to eventually allow me to once again

walk and move normally.

I am a member of our High Priest Group in our Ward, and even though I am not able to attend our meetings at Church-I send monthly messages to those inactive members of our Ward,to replace the monthly visits that I would normally make with a companion to an assigned family in our Ward.

I also,am Blessed to be able to view and listen to our High Priest meetings via the "Skype"appliication on our compurter.

My wife and are Senior Citizens, now in our late 70's.We try to keep involved with our Church by watching

BYUtv on Sundays-watching the Sacrament meeting, the Spoken Word(Mormon Tabernacle Choir),Church

History, episodes of the past General Conference, other meetings ,and the discussion by BYU Professors

of the Book of Mormon.

We are also Blessed to have the visits by our Home,Visiting Teachers and our Ward's Missionary

Elders and Sisters.

We will be interested to read and learn of the experiences and comments of the other members of this

website.

Hello and thank you for sharing with us.  I do hope that you will be up and well soon.  You seem to be a very strong member, don't ever forget that the Lord loves you and your family soooo very much.  And He is proud of all that you do, and who you are.  He see's you holding on and doing the best you can under this situation that you are in.  It is great to see your ward supporting you as well as you supporting them.

Keep smiling Keep shining know that you can always count on Him for sure, that's what He is for.
