jerome1232 Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Am I just dense? I've been trying to figure out how to add an attachment. There's an attachment manager, but no way to upload an attachment. Quote
mattador Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 You are not dense! I am having the same problem. It might be something that needs to be addressed to their tech department. Good luck! Quote
skippy740 Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 I'm just curious as to how you posted this as of June 12th... and it's June 10th at 12:10am PDT? Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 And then I'm totally blind because I don't see an attachment manager. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 So my questions are now going to be: 1) What browser are you using?2) What kind of file are you trying to attach?3) Are you using desktop, mobile or tablet? Quote

jerome1232 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 Pam, on your post I don't have permission to view your attachment, and it seems attachments don't quite work as I'd hoped anyway. I thought it would be an easier (as it is on other forums I frequent) way to embed a picture I have saved on my local computer instead of uploading it to some photo sharing site first. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 Actually I think it's using Firefox. Many things aren't working using Firefox or IE. It's strange that you can't see the picture I posted. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 Are you using the "More Reply Options" in the bottom right of where you make a post? Quote
jerome1232 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 Actually I think it's using Firefox. Many things aren't working using Firefox or IE. It's strange that you can't see the picture I posted.I tried Chromium 34.0 (essentially chrome) and it's exactly the same as Firefox. Googles Chrome 35.0 is also the same. I don't have access to IE atm since I'm in Ubuntu.Did you simply go into the Attachment Manager? Does your attachment manager have an upload button where mine doesn't per my screenshot? Quote
jerome1232 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 Firefox, Chromium, and Chrome all have no visible method of uploading an attachment from Reply->More Reply Options->My Media Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 When I hit "More Reply Options" at the bottom it has a place to upload an attachment. The manage attachments is only to manage your attachments..not to upload attachments. My attachments I have done are showing in my "manage your attachments" and gives me the option to delete them etc. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 So I went into my test account which does not have any kind of admin functions and I see what you are seeing now. Let me see what I can do. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 Jerome see if you can see it now on the More Reply Options Quote
jerome1232 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 Testing.Your's works for me now as well. Quote
pam Posted July 10, 2014 Report Posted July 10, 2014 Okay. I found that the permissions to upload or download was not set. Only admins had the capability. I think I have all of the forums set for it now. Quote
Guest Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Help. I can't seem to access any attachment manager, much less upload a file. Quote
