Guest the_big_picture Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 But I don't know if my Visa card can take the hit. It's smoking already from all my recent book purchases! Not good using credit cards for stuff you dont realy need. get a debit card insted, you pay with money you already have. Quote
CrimsonKairos Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Actually, I do that with credit cards. I spend money and then pay it off right away. I think I've got a pretty good credit rating, but I don't wanna jump through all the hoops at the "get your credit score free" sites. Quote
Jason Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 It is my Visa debit card Im talking about. I hate CC's. Quote

Dr T Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 Give me $50 and I'll give you a credit report. Quote
BenRaines Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 I found this today and thought it amusing. If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report. If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash! If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall. And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse; then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang. When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and the macro code instructions are causing unnecessary risk, then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM, and then quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your Mom! Guest Yediyd Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Ben, That was cool...didn't understand a word of it...but I laughed anyway... then I felt sad at my pathetic computer knowledge. Quote
CrimsonKairos Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Hahahaha, classic. Check this out, it's a hilarious video about the Windows/Apple clash. Also, drool over some of the iPhone's features (click on the top video, "A closer look at iPhone"). It doesn't even show off the video iPod feature, which lets you watch videos on your phone's 3.5" screen.Apple...I love you. B) Quote
Jason Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Microsoft pokes fun at the iPhone with the "oPhone". Quote
CrimsonKairos Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Actually, that's iPhone fans making fun of Microsoft by showing what sort of idiotic product Microsoft would come up with to match the iPhone (refer to the Zune). B) Quote
Jason Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 You're right. But it's still pretty funny. Quote
CrimsonKairos Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Definitely. (quote from the vid) "When I first saw it, I though: Oh!" Quote
Guest the_big_picture Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 Its wrong to say that Vista is a copy of the OS X, its more of a failed emulation. Quote
