Interesting Conference Hymn Choice

One of my favorites.  Why does the choice of this song strike you as interesting?  It would make a lousy lullaby, but I really like hymns with vivid, majestic lyrics like these, sort of like the poetry of Oliver Wendell Holmes ("Justice that reddens the sky with her terrors," etc).

We live in the Last Days.  I've studied the topic heavily.  The signs of the times are all around us.  They pick a hymn with those verses.

One of my favorite songs.  Reminds me of my mission.  In my last district, we chose that song as our theme song.
