Reading the labels for exterior paint I see that it says to paint when the temperature is above 35 degrees.  Does that mean I just have to be done painting before the temperature drops below 35 or that there needs to be a certain amount of time where the temperature is above 35?  I want to paint the front door a lovely shade of blue I saw in Southern Living. The temps are warm 50-70 during the day, but one day this week the low will be 34.

It means don't paint if the temperature is going to be 35F or below at any time between you opening the paint can and the paint drying.
