That's why I don't get too worried/upset about the worldly things. I agree (obvious, since you agreed with me, first ). There is a reason to worry, however. No matter the outcome, we have to live through the evils 'twixt now and then. It will not be comfortable. It's as I say concerning death: I'm not afraid of "death", but "dying" is another issue. One of the top 10 "most complained about books in America" is the Bible. Yes, we're already there. ... This intrigued me, so I "Googled" it and learned that the list is of books most frequently challenged (as reported to the American Libraries Association by libraries, schools, and the media). James LaRue, who heads the ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom and the Freedom to Read Foundation remarked that the reported reasons for the Bible appearing as number 6 on the list usually had to do with perceptions of propriety for it to be on public school shelves in terms of separation of church and state, but also often as retaliatory complaints by people who seem to just want to make a statement when some other book they like was challenged. But I wondered about the Bible's position and the reasons for the other 9 books. So I looked up each book title and complaint-oriented remarks. I thought it was interesting so I listed them in order by the reasons people challenged the books. 1 sexually explicit content 2 sexually explicit content 3 transgender child character 4 transgender child character 5 taking the name of God in vain and other objectionable language 6 presence in public school libraries 7 pornographic content 8 treatment of sexuality 9 inappropriate context for elementary schools (kidnapping of a child's parents in Afghanistan) 10 homosexuality content So as I attempt to see things from another person's point of view I suppose I can imagine why some would perceive this as an example of apocalyptic events, but I don't personally perceive it that way.
