As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are taught to emulate Christ in all our thoughts, words, and deeds. However, our mortal inclinations often hinder our attempts to be as He is. This means that when we try to walk as Christ walked, speak as Christ spoke, and love as he loves, we often fall short. Stuff like this is powerful, and totally necessary.  We need to know what it looks like to do it right, and everyone else needs to know how hard we struggle to do what is right.  Even if it doesn't end up with the ending this story does.

Time Out For Women - so, this is like a thing that Deseret Book does?  Not really a church thing?

As the Especially For Youth generation aged out, Deseret Book found a commercial vacuum and filled it.

I should add, my wife has been twice (TOFW, not EFY) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
