Meanwhile, my neighbors now hate me.  I finally moved the Klipsch 5.1 speakers into this room where my laptop is, and hooked them up (with an adapter that takes their poor 2-speaker output and pumps it through the Klipsch speakers), and holy cow, Batman, the walls are vibrating.:D:crackup::fullband::bandrock:

Prior to hooking up my speakers, the screw on the left side of my glasses1 needed tightening maybe once every few months.  Interestingly, it's been loose more often lately...  :hmmm:

1 My apologies if I just messed up your imaginary version of me.

This is one of my favorites because it's an Appalachian song that is done by a traditional Irish group. The rendition is especially touching because Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh's husband Frankie Kennedy who together founded Altan passed away from cancer. He was an amazing flute player.

Fare thee well
My own true love
Farewell for a while
I'm going away
But I'll be back
Though I go 10,000 miles

10,000 miles
My own true love
10,000 miles or more
The rocks may melt
And the seas may burn
If I should not return

Oh don't you see
That lonesome dove
Sitting on an ivy tree
She's weeping for
Her own true love
As I shall weep for mine

Oh come ye back
My own true love
And stay a while with me
If I had a friend
All on this earth
You've been a friend to me
