Ironhold Posted March 26, 2017 Report Posted March 26, 2017 http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2017/02/23/retail-chain-family-christian-plans-after-85-years/98326140/ The decision was made a month ago, but I only just now found out about it. Retail Christian bookstore chain Family Christian has announced it's going bust. They filed for bankruptcy back in 2015, and never really recovered. If you have one near you, it might be worth checking out. They *were* once a cesspool, such that their "comparative religion" section was "why anyone who disagrees with us is going to burn eternally" and their toy section had "Victory in Jesus" monster trucks, but they've really cleaned up over the last few years and so looked like they were really trying to turn things around. Blackmarch Posted March 26, 2017 Report Posted March 26, 2017 Sorry to hear that... But in general the paper book market has been drying up. Theres hardly any bookstores around here anynmore. And the one or two that are still around dedicate more store space to other things than books. Quote
