Dear Bros & Sis's,

Doing sealings at the temple is a great spiritual experience. It is nice to have a ceremony that you can do with your spouse....but not mandatory to have a spouse or to have your spouse with you! It is really useful to have unaccompanied saints of either gender!

If you have crazy schedule and you live/work near a temple, you can fit this in over your lunch break! Often the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed.

I have had the opportunity to learn some quite interesting doctrinal information while performing these ordinances. Many of the questions about split families are answered here. If you have questions about such issues, I really recommend sealings.

If you have not been to the temple for a bit - sealings may be for you!

Last comment, eat first. Don't go fasting!

And be careful if you're pregnant! (Kneeling for a long time can make you faint/pass out.)

I LOVE doing sealings! When I lived closer to a temple (and went more often), I learned to learn from the different sealers. Every once in a while, they'll share some insight, either about the ordinance or the particular temple you're in.

They can arrange for you to sit in a chair if you ask. The floor partitions can be taken out to accommodate a chair.
