For myself - I try to avoid marks - especially marks the are intended to limit thinking and understanding. It has appeared to me that the more stable someone is with their understanding - the less they are concerned about considering other points of view. To be honest, I must admit, that I am not sure I understand much at all concerning the parables Jesus taught. So, I tend to avoid limiting any understanding unless I have fully explored and resolved completely any particular possibility. I offer what little I know having considered some possibilities. There may be some merit to not considering new possibilities – And I am willing to explorer that as well. I also understand that just because something is logically enticing does not mean that it is always worth exploring. Just for me – I both appreciate to opportunity to explorer as well as learning from others willing to share what they have learned going beyond traditional marks and thinking. In short – I do not think we can learn unless we consider things previously not considered. The Traveler Quote

But on this parable it seems rather apparent that much of what people are discussing goes well beyond the mark and end up missing the very point Christ was trying to make. Quote
