caspianrex Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 Hello all, I actually originally joined this forum several years ago, and introduced myself back then, but since I've been a bit more active over the past few days, I thought I'd go ahead and re-introduce myself! I am not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I have had many positive experiences with Saints in the past, and I have long been interested in LDS culture and history. I have a nice little collection of different editions of the Book of Mormon, and some other LDS scripture, as well as publications such as the Teachings of the Presidents, Gospel Principles, and the like. I am the Director of Music Ministries at a United Methodist church outside of Nashville, TN. I have a wife and two daughters, and am coming up on my 19th wedding anniversary in a couple months. I also collect Bibles, and have somewhere upwards of 200 different Bibles in my collection. I am interested in language, Shakespeare, theology, and Sherlock Holmes. That's me in a nutshell. anatess2 Posted September 19, 2018 Report Posted September 19, 2018 How did I miss this intro? Director of Music Ministries in Nashville!!! Please do tell us more! I'm not familiar with Methodist worship structure, is it like Baptist churches where there's lots of music, usually exhilirating? Do you play lots of country-style music? Quote
