Pocahontas earned a place of honor in our history and does not deserve to have her good name and reputation so desecrated. mrmarklin
You all realize that Pocahontas did not marry John Smith, right? She died in England in a mansion. Unfortunately she was a very young age, like mid twenties. There are descendants.

I believe there are also accounts of her being gang-raped by English colonists, taken involuntarily to Britain, and that she was more-or-less forced to marry John Rolfe. A very sad tale; but given enough time most tragic things do eventually become ripe for a bit of black humor. As far as Trump’s using the name in reference to Warren, my only gripe is that he’s botching a pre-existing meme. The original term, as coined by conserva-tarian internet wags before Trump picked it up and ruined it, was “Faux-cahontas”; which was hysterical.
