MorgBot Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 I am not quoting it correctly, but selek said something that I agree with whole-heartedly: the church isn't a resort for the perfect but a hospital for the sick. In my inactive days, my life wasn't exactly empty, but it was missing something important. It truly has been a joy to involve myself with the church again and be "healed" slowly by its simple, yet effective ways. Hello everyone! It's a pleasure to follow you around on the Internet! Quote
Garden Girl Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 Hello MorgBot and welcome... You may have read my posts where I tell about my lengthy inactivity... I, too, am so very thankful I came to my senses... the Spirit kept prodding me. All good wishes... The Garden Girl Quote
NeuroTypical Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 Ahh, sweet, seductive inactivity. Sunday's filled with hedonistic movie watching, lawn mowing, and store shopping. So convenient. Such a delicious sense of guilty pleasure. Well, as my spare tire reminds me, not everything that tastes good is good for you. I hate ties, but I love the gospel. Welcome! LM Quote
