Hi Everyone,

I am a Young married LDS male. I enjoy sunsets and long walks on the beach and just sitting and listening to people talk.... nah just joking ( I do enjoy sunsets and the beach and talking to people though). I enjoy reading and learning about the LDS religion and have the problem of continually asking questions. And as it is with gospel questions, every answer you get creates another 10 questions! I am a member of other LDS forums many of which seem to get dominated by the Anti's. I hope to learn from people here and just have some interesting conversations. :)

If you don't know where NZ is it's where lord of the rings was filmed (just call it middle earth as were are not known for anything else).

Hi! and welcome!

I do know where NZ is. I've been reading about your country since I was about 10. I've wanted to visit there for a long time. And I like Maori designs.

Anyway, welcome to the group.

Welcome! Just to be nice, I won't make a Lord of the Rings joke or question here. Ha ha.

Anyway, I'm glad you're here and look forward to reading your posts. =)

Hello!

My dad's cousin lives in NZ and she and her daughter were in Lord of the Rings as hobbit extras. Towards the beginning of the first one, her daughter is one of the children running and yelling, "GANDALF! GANDALF!" as he comes into the village. I probably wouldn't have seen those movies if it weren't for wanting to see them. :) Welcome to the board!

That's quite the big break, MorningStar! ;)

My dad's cousin is lucky she's short! That's how she got in. :D She's under 5 feet tall. Her daughter is actually very dramatic though and I won't be surprised if she ends up having an acting/singing career.

Oooh, that would be cool. I went to high school with a girl that's on the Disney Channel a lot now, and it's neat to know someone who ends up on TV.

Well welcome i too am a married L.D.S male {not so young though} And i do understand about yer questions. What really gets to be the good in it all is when you finally start to find true verifiable answers to all your questions, then you can share them with others when they ask you.

Welcome drjme...

I think New Zealand is beautiful, and if I go on a senior sister mission, one place I'll request is NZ. I live on the beautiful central Oregon coast, a short 1/2 block from the beach... I just walk to the end of my street, down a small, low bluff onto the sand. And I do enjoy long walks on the beach...
