Yep.  The Senate Democrats actually increased their lead this cycle, but with Sinema's announcement, they're back to 50/50 with Manchin as a powerful wild card.

I dunno.  I'm happiest with a divided and ineffective federal govt.  So Dem Presidency and Senate, conservative court, and republican house is a quite attractive situation to me.  Maybe that makes my right conservative side mad, but I saw what the yay-hoos did when republicans ran the pres/house/senate.  Spend like drunken sailors.  That's what they did.

Eh, I don't think this will change anything. She's already spent the last 4 years voting like an Independent and causing headaches for Dems. She's still going to caucus with the Dems and she'll probably vote in line with them over 50% of the time. The real question is how safe will her seat be in two years.
