WOO HOO!!!!!!! I just got a call from the missionaries because there's another baptism tonight and they want me to play the piano. This is our third new convert baptism in the last couple months. :D

You are all such examples... I really need to learn from members like yourselves. And also the way that you are so ready to share your gift and talent on a moments notice. So many with music ability seem to not like it when they are called all the time... what a GREAT attitude.

YOU ROCK!

It is individuals just like you, that bring others into the fold. Your ward baptisms I am sure are filled with the spirit!

I'm in the Seattle area. Well, the baptism had to be postponed because the sister getting baptized and her mother-in-law are both in wheelchairs and their transporation wasn't able to get them there because of the flooding in the area. My husband is in restoration construction and he said he had to drive all over the place trying to figure out how to get to jobsites. But when she does get baptized, I will be there. :D I guess I should wash the kids' church clothes in case I get called again today. It's a little rough getting them ready for a church thing on Mondays when everything is in the hamper.

Thanks! :D Yes, our baptisms are very nice. I think you read about the sister who got baptized right after her neck surgery and how it took a long time to figure out how to get her under the water. That one was so wonderful. I'm wondering how they go about baptizing someone who's in a wheelchair.

I was wondering if baptisms really happen all the time or if they just come in waves? We only have maybe 4 people in our branch and only about half of them are active. but we are going to have had 4 baptisms this month including mine. Did I mention that our poor missionaries must some times ride their bikes about 15 miles just to get to an investigators house because most of this area is all country ?
