Jigglysaint Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I shouldn't have looked in on this thread. Now I'm hungry again, and I need to go shopping and we just had a big snowstorm. Also I really need some Red Lobster right about now. Olive Gardens don't exist in Canada anymore. Not that I've ever eaten there or anything. Quote
beakers Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 But Canada has Swiss Chalets. I remember the chicken sandwich there as being really really good. Quote

MorningStar Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 That depends. Are you married yet? Do you cook? You could make her a surprise romantic dinner at home. Otherwise I vote Olive Garden. I have some friends who go to Tony Romas every single year because they went there on their 1st anniversary. Quote

We both work in town and have a 45 minute commute home, so the surprise dinner thing won't work. We're going to try and go to a revolving restaurant at the Calgary Tower. Quote
MorningStar Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 Ooh, like the Space Needle! Maybe you could get her a surprise dessert ahead of time for later? My husband learned how to make creme brulee last year for Mother's Day and I was so surprised! He made it for my breakfast! He also decorated my tray with chocolates shaped like shells, made me a breakfast sandwich, give me sparkling pomegranate juice, orange juice, toast, and I think there was something else, but I could hardly eat any of it because I don't have an appetite in the morning. Dang it was sweet though! He got a blow torch and everything. Quote
MorningStar Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 P.S. Congratulations on your wedding! Quote
