Hey everyone! I haven't introduced myself in any forums for a long time, so forgive me if this is so lame.

I'm Lexi, 17 years old, LDS by nature, and will attend BYU in the fall (Zoobies? Whatever that means). I've been having a lot of doubts concerning the church, but for the first time in my life I haven't run to the opposite corner and handled it terribly; I'm actually studying and whatnot instead. I have a boyfriend of a year and a month and eight days. He is a bit older than me and is leaving for his mission in April (well, he'll be going to the MTC). He is going to Russia. Which is all really great, except I'll miss him quite a lot.

I suppose those are all the relevant things I can think of for now. I enjoy writing, and music, I dabble in photography and read far too much. And that's all folks.

Welcome! I live a bit closer to russia... Your boyfrend must be a good guy as they send him to Russia... it is not everybody that can get a call to there. :D

Welcome Lexie,

You can never read TOO much- unless it is unwholesome books:rolleyes:

I've read my share of the unwholesome kind- and I now know what author NOT to get :D

Hello Lexish. Welcome and hope you enjoy it here. Reading and finding out as much as you can is good but praying about it is best to be able to discern the truth from the half truths and distortions of which there are many.

I can say for sure that I know the church is true and no amount of anti literature could change what I know.

Wow, thanks everyone :) And Hi!

I try not to read unwholesome things, I only recently realized that such a thing doesn't have to be blatant. Mostly I've been reading church history type things. And praying, though it's much easier to just read and say its enough (of course it isn't).

Mailis, yeah he is a pretty good guy getting to go to Russia :P But of course I'd say that. How much closer do you live? That's cool.

Anyway, thank you all for welcoming me :)

Well from my summerhome amd my moteher (in the pic with my sons) the Russian border is only some 2 hours drive.... Here where we live it is +7 hours drive and a boat over night + the 2 hours... :D Ofcourse Moscow is a LOT further away. Sant Petersburg is much closer like some 6/7 hours drive... Not sure ofthe condition of the roads there...Last time they were broad, but full of holes... :o:o

Geez! Very cool. He'll be in the more southern part of Russia.

I must say, living in the general European region seems really amazing -- what, with all the different countries so close together. Maybe it isn't quite so easy, but still.
