What’s up with the sacred music app?

This is the app that contains the new hymns.  And other things to apparently.  Has anyone listened to these playlists?

I didn't realise this app even existed. 
The church seems to have gospel library, and then a ton of completely separate apps for what are already features in the gospel library app. 
 

Such as this sacred music app, and the book of mormon app.

On a side note, when I had a smart watch, I used to have a book of mormon app on it. So I could read the scriptures on my wrist. (It was a very uncomfortable way to read the scriptures.)

I heard they're retiring the Sacred Music app and merging its functions into the Library app.
