hi everyone! i've been lds all my life and so has my wife and all of our family. my wife's family goes all the way back to joseph smith. mine goes back to the 1860s or 1870s which is a pioneering type thing for the south, not many mormons here in the south back then. my grandfathers grandmother was the first to join on my fathers side. my mom was baptized in 1960 and a few of her siblings have also joined the church

anyway, i live in north carolina, work in IT for a major bank headquartered in charlotte (i'll give you 2 guesses :)), we have 3 kids and one dog. my wife and i teach primary and i am the choir director and ward music chairperson.

this looks like a great place, surprised i have never heard of it before. read an article in my lds living email about the more good foundation and saw a link to lds.net. glad to be here.

you are so blessed to be raised in the church. as for me , it took 34yrs. to find it! i am 38yrs old now . i was out of church for 5yrs due to pressure from my mom.( you dont get more anti-mormon than she is!!!!!! ) any way , the holy spirit never quit calling me back. so 4wks. ago i started back with my new husband and 7yr old daughter. this sunday i talk to the branch president about my patriarchal blessing, i dont know whats going to happen ? ive been married twice before coming back and i lived as if i didnt know any better. i have TRULY REPENTED and my truest desire is to some day see heavenly father face to face. i know in my heart i am forgiven but i dont know what the church will say ??( no more than i was baptized, when my mom caused me to practicly have a nervous break down , so i just quit going and became so confused and then affraid and then started living like the world. now i am back in church waiting to see what i must do to make things right again ? ) ive never been to the temple. i hope it isnt to late for me???? got any suggestions any one ? tree. by the way welcome to the site!
