Simply put, communism and communists are a great enemy to our very existence. I applaud Sen. McCarthy for standing up to them and being very blunt and brutal in condemning them.

I will give no quarter to those who would enslave me and my family and nation. They must be fought at all costs.

So, hmmm, we have a scriptural contradiction, it would seem....(not really, if you understand what is being said)...

We ought not seek offense, but we are justified, when it comes to life and liberty, in attacking our enemies and working for their defeat. In the case of communism and communists that probably means their death, rather than ours.

Sen. McCarthy did nothing wrong.
