From my study on the matter.There is no more revelation..The bible stands alone on full athurity and anything added to it or claims to be added to it is not of God.. i know lds disagrees. BUT THIS IS MY DISCLAIMER BECAUSE I AM ON A LDS THREAD..i have no intention to attack you personally. I like to understand how people drive to their conclusions in ALL FAITHS NOT JUST YOURS. I am glad you are asking the questions on sin..Lots of reglions struggle on this concept that they are indeed sinners and need a savior. That their works are filthy rags to the Lord and that they can do nothing to earn salvation..but this also starts with how they view sin. This is why my name is Lostnfound..Once I was Lost..not saved and then I was found by the grace of Jesus.

Can i ask you guys a question in regards to Hizwifes questions??? Why are you guys in general defense? Jenamarie sorta talked about it. But if some unbeliever asks me about my faith I am happy to give him an answer. In fact I have been questioned on my faith my whole life and It never gets exhausting for me. I think it never bothers me because i know I have assurance and the person asking me usually does not have the same assurance. If a faith say's "We are the True Church" then they are aquired to be able to rationaly explain or even prove why they believe that in my opinion. The bible says to always have an explanation for the faith that you believe.

hey I don't know what christian forums you were on..but I am not lds..don't clump the few close minded into one catagory or another..:) I have found just as many closed minded lds as I have found open minded lds.:) No offense guys.

When a doctrine develops that contridicts the bible I have to bring it up and understand it.

okay question for you. I have learned on this forum that there is also according to lds doctrine a goddess but she is not talked about because you don't know much about her.. So when the scriptures state "There are no other Gods" and you state that would mean on this planet is'nt that a contridiction?? That would 1. God the Father 2. Jesus is God 3. Holy spirit God 4. Goddess..That is 4 Gods just on this planet.

I think what he is trying to say because I completely agree with this person. The "True Church" is not confined to walls. She belongs to a community of believers that cover the globe. It sounds as though she has put her faith in Jesus christ alone to save her from her sins and therefore even though I do not know her we both belong to the same church. I go a an actual church too. And someone I don't remember who asked me once what denomination? I told them I will not be defined by an denomination because if I tell you I go to a baptist church I have been in great baptist churches speaking truth and lousy baptist churches not preaching the gospel but some other.

yes thank you..so what scripture references do you look to that says we do these ordinances for them?? And what scripture references is there that says there will be a COMPLETE apostasy.. And what happened to all those christians across the world that started with Pauls ministry and others?

I have a new question for you. What happened to the people after the disclipes died and the time Joseph smith came. Did they go to hell? I think lds teaches there was a falling away during this time...But that is long time in history so did these people not have the gospel? What the bible? Hopefully my question is clear. Any thoughts for me?

I agree with your reasoning and can see what your saying.as far as no human being able to explain comment i posted..I meant..person was laying on the stretcher.no heart beat, no brain activity and clinicaly dead..no doctor in that room could account for the fact as to why he came to life..and nobody could explain it even one step further in that there was no brain damage. 4 min of no heat beat and that equalls brain damage. It is beyond reason or intellect or science. It was God. I think if you took one isolated arguement a christian gives you for God and you might be able to come up with a reasonable rebuttel but when you lay all the evidence on the table it is hard to ignore.This where I put my faith in. My faith does not contridict my logic. Now that is only part of the equation Digital..then it comes down to which path right? If you come to the conclusion there is a God then at some point you've got to figure out which path to God right? And this is where I purposed to you a analytical study on Jesus and the bible.
