I think your right Mosksha it probably applies to other churches also.. I am sure the welcome would be different in small towns compared large citys........ I think it goes with anything not just SSA . People do not always know how to deal with those that are different from them.

I for one think we will be judged on how we interact and treat our fellow humans.......That is one of hte biggest lessons Jesus taught........ right???

I am sorry this will certanly really irk some but abomination is such an Old Testament word. We make mistakes... we sin... what we do after that is how we will be judged..... I think more than the actual sin... It's what you do with your knowledge. How you change your life... walk away from sins and change your life. Mabey I am wrong but if I am then well no matter how I changed my life the abominations will erase all the good and I am damned

LDS usually do not use the term saved.. Baptism says it all butin conversations with other christians that is a more easily understood term. Your statement above to me is so sad..... I think most of us will not go to hell. I believe all will be judged on their own merits and life experiences. I think were harder on ourselves than God will be in the end.

We each will be judged individually.. based on our life experience... I have a feeling Fahter in Heaven will be much kinder to us than we are to ourselves.

Its your turn Snow, Vort has been on the attack with me on another thread..... He seems to show the same amount of rudeness to you as he does to me...... You on the other hand are better adept at handling him than I am.....

we all cannot react the same... some are very friendly... some are just somewhat friendly...... I think the most inportant thing is if someone wishes to attend they are allowed and are able to take from it what they may without judgement.

P.S. prospectmom is your friend. Actually I do not know him very well but do appreciate his posts and appreciate the fact he answers my simple questions without going on the attack. What exactly was your point Vort????

I admit I am so not as good as the copy/ paste process as you but in none of my posts as I have just re-read them do I deserve being called pathetic... sheepish..... and more ... Skippy was kind and took the time to clearly explain to me... how nice there are still gentlemen in this world.... You went on the attack . You put me down in every way you could... baiting and making personal attacks.... Personally I am embarrassed someone who is as happy and all together as you would act in the manner you have.....but I guess when folks get all puffed up in themselves there is no telling what they might say...... I might recommend you follow Skippy's lead which was calm and so christ-like .... I so appreciate that. You I think like to fight/ argue without really making much of a point... now that I know that I will do my best to be as clear as posssible with you if our paths should ever crosss again....... So you keep on being right and acting so self-rightious and I will keep trying to understand what is written and ask questions when I do not understand.....Boy has this been quite a learning experience and for that I thank you good and bad I have really learned alot about human behavior tonight.

I am not flipping out do not like being attacked... you posted judgements and opinions you didn't ask questions... I answer all questions asked. I haven't ( flipped out ) since I was banned and have since learned to follow the site rules. I wish you could do the same.

We lived in Northern Oregon when Mt St Helens erupted... we got about 6 inches of ash... It was like a gray/white snowstorm.. before it blew completly you could see it from my work.... on the positive our garden was awesome the next season.

My parents are a good example of paying tithing when it seems ther is no money to do it... It always worked out they were always blessed.
