Comic Sans?! Sorry I'm just a huge ban comic sans fan ^^; Give me good ole Helvetica any day!
  2. I'm in the Virginia Beach stake! You?
  3. O believe me I know! I hail from the Ocean Front and have to travel to Portsmouth several times a week, and occasionally Hampton. It's super crazy out here.
  4. Tee hee great quote!
  5. Welcome! Don't know how close I am to you but I live in the Hampton Roads area!
  6. Hi there! Welcome!
  7. I love Lord of the Rings, but I also love the Similrillion and pretty much anything he's ever written about Middle-earth. Where are the fellow Tolkien fans?
  8. I have tried many times to read Terry Pratchet because I hear how good his books are. Sadly I have not been able to finish one. Just not my style I guess. I do on the other hand love Neil Gaiman who he co-wrote Good Omens with. There is not one Gaiman book I haven't been able to finish *except* Good Omens...
  9. I have a GREAT single's branch here in VA except for the fact the guys treat the girls like... well, one of the guys!
  10. Single female here, and looking!
  11. Yeah, so I keep meeting people at school who I'd marry in an instant and wish they were members so I could! I don't think I'm too picky but I don't know, I never seem to connect with any of the young men at the single's branch. I go to a small art school in Virginia and I just love being around the fellow artists insomuch that I would really love to be able to marry a member who is also an artist. I know it's not important to have every single thing in common with the person you marry, and it's okay if my future spouse is not an artist. Just saying it would be nice. BUT I never seem to be able to find any fellow members who are into art be it male or female. Does anyone else seem to have this problem? That you have a hard time connecting with people in your ward or branch whether it be for dating or even hanging out? Like I said they don't need to be artists for me to hang out with or even date them. Just for once though it would be pretty sweet to find members that are into the same things I am. It feels isolating at times...
  12. Hi everyone! My name is Jenny and I'm a newbie here. I've been wanting an LDS forum for a while but haven't found one until tonight. A bit about me. I'm a 25 y/o single (hint hint ) adult currently going to school full-time for graphic design. I'm looking to graduate this May with my Associate and looking to transfer to BYU-I next year to continue my education. Nothing much to say, just wanted to waste some time before going back to school work. Nice to meet you all!
