That's sweet, I didn't know those two were members!

This explains pretty well how I see it.

Granted, you now have your choice of power but it halves your life span every time you use it. I wish my car would stop breaking down.

I'm in a mushy mood right now I just got done watching Benny and Joon, I must say Sam and Joon are sooo freaking adorable! I usually don't do lubby dubby anything, but every how and then something comes along to make my heart all melty. Aside from those too I also love Will and Lyra from His Dark Materials. But seriously, I would not mind finding me a Sam! What are some of your favourite couples?

Can anyone start a matchmaking activity on internet.
yenni replied to morningflower's topic in Single Adults
I've tried the online things a few times and in a few different sites. Mostly all I get are men older than my parents, perverts that try to cyber with me The rest that indicate interest by sending the free flirts must not be interested enough if they can't shell out $10 to come in contact with me. So, no luck there:rolleyes: -

The sad thing is in my branch because it's military, there are WAY more girls than guys which usually never happens. Blah -
Where Are All The Single Girls?

At my Stake here about a month ago, we had Elder Scott give the singles a fireside. He had some great dating advice. "Men, ask the women out!" Second good piece is: "Going on one date does not commit you to marriage." Sadly, the men in this area have yet to follow his advice...! -
AS SOON as you said armpit I knew you meant PA!!!

Where I live is literally just down the street from King Neptune, at the ocean front of Virginia Beach. Where I'm from however is Easton, PA, one of only three places where The Declaration of Independence was first read, and home of: Crayola Crayons! Man I miss that place!

Advice on how to prepare when barely skirtting by as it is?
yenni replied to yenni's topic in Preparedness
Thanks all for the great tips so far! One thing my RS did was give everyone a quart sized mason jar for our spare change. Somehow, physically seeing my savings helps me to save more. -
I know he's not and I wasn't trying to imply that he was. My thought process when asking this was the early Saints in the history of our church who were tried to give a higher law to lie and not ready. And again same with Moses' people who could have had the higher law then but weren't ready for it so in essence delayed the higher law.

I know that no one knows the hour when the Saviour shall come again. But I was wondering, do you think it expedient to say, pray for the hastening of the Second Coming. I know it's going to come when it's gonna come, but is it possible to act in ways to make it happen sooner, so to speak? My Blessing said something along the lines of "hastening the day when Jesus would come again" Along the lines of hastening the Second Coming, is it possible to be delayed because we're just not ready as Saints to receive Him?

Your 3 months lasting 12 reminds me when God blessed me with an ever-lasting gas tank during the summer when prices where sky high. For me there was no other explanation than He blessed my gas tank for a good three weeks! -
I believe wholeheartedly in food storage and other preparedness essentials. However my mother and I are barely getting by as it is. I wish to listen to the prophets and do what they say. I'm interested in what tips you all can offer for those who can't really afford to do food storage and such to the full extent.

The only thing that bothers me is how the porn industry has the gull to ask for any money: An article in next month's Atlantic asks, "Is porn recession proof?" According to porn magnate Larry Flynt and "Girls Gone Wild" king Joe Francis, the answer is no. TMZ reports that the pornographer pair is heading to Washington to ask for a $5 billion porn bailout: "With all this economic misery and people losing all that money, sex is the farthest thing from their mind," Flynt says. "It's time for Congress to rejuvenate the sexual appetite of America." Francis sees his industry like the big three automakers, only BIGGER: "Congress seems willing to help shore up our nation's most important businesses; we feel we deserve the same consideration."

hahah that's great!

This is not true at all. I have depression and my Branch President as well as my Relief Society President recommend I take anti-depressants. For the most part it is a chemical imbalance that is out of my control. A mental illness is still an illness and needs to be treated like anything else.

Any women with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)?
yenni replied to yenni's topic in Health and Exercise
It's true there are certainly worse things out there. The right combination of symptoms however can make things nightmarish for someone though, at times. It is often misdiagnosed because the symptoms vary so much a woman may never know she has which can be tough if she wonders why she cant' get pregnant. Not being able to have children is something I've already coped with personally and have opted for adoption when the time comes. The thing that's hardest for me to deal with is the unruly hirsutism ALL over my face and body. -
It's a chemical imbalance the affects 10% of women and is the top cause of infertility. It's something I have to deal and am always seeking support for it. I was wondering if anyone here has it maybe we can have a little group here. It really does help talking about it. For more information go here: SoulCysters.com: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment & Resources Symptom include (and may very) Infrequent menstrual period and/or irregular bleeding Infertility because of not ovulating Increased growth of hair on face/body Acne, oily skin, or dandruff Pelvic pain Depression Weight gain or obesity Type 2 diabetes High cholesterol High blood pressure Male-pattern baldness or thinning hair Darkened skin on neck, arms, breasts, or thighs Skin tags Sleep apnea And more.
