hee hee I just saw curry recipe and that piqued my interest...I like curry but do not cook nearly enough...we are having the Elders over Sunday and are making my famous yummy homemade fried chicken...I can't wait it has been *way* too long... ...I don't see an eating emoticon except fr the popcorn, so we are gonna assimilate us some *chicken*!!! ...and don't forget the yummy fried taters I make too...lots of garlic, a little salt...waht for a veggie...ok jokes. ooh ooh ooh...I need to start a thread for my favorite of all time...not a mormon one though...hee hee hee, I am gonna get smacked hee hee...

My husband is an RM but likes to tweak with people a little...OK a lot. We were in Harvard Square station when we saw 2 elders from a distance. He shouted in a very loud voice, LOOK! MORMONS! They looked as if they wanted to sink in the ground and stay there. I have his permission to share this...I know he is an RM but I did not know whether to laugh or slap him upside the head. Figuratively of course.

Hi Islander, you have a black belt don't you...? As I posted I am at orange level right now but hope someday for my black belt. I love Shotokan because the instructors are fantastic. Tough but kind and great. Don't ever train with the Sensai because the last time I did I wanted to get sick after. If there is one other person there, good but train alone with him if you want...a challenge. ...no we do not do ninja stars but I do use and own my own sais...the sai kata is almost 200 moves long and has a really long name. It is very repetitive but I don't entirely have it memorized yet. PS Which island are you from if I may ask?

OK I am new and one of the first things I do is start a thread...what is the etiquette here on that? I see nothing about the coolest sport there is unless the title is cleverly disguised. Is anyone here into Martial Arts? Personally practice Shotokan Karate but I am only an orange belt. (white-yellow-orange-green-blue-purple-brown-black, I think red is in there somewhere.) Anyone? Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Akido, something else? This and soccer are really the only sports that interest me, and I think watching soccer is boring except for when someone gets a "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!!!!" Sorry, I can certainly see the appeal but in high school I as in marching band. We were very competitive and actually did well...actually quite intense, like an adolescent military. Good times. I may put this on all posts until it happens...or I know an answer. How long till I get my email comfirmation?

Thanks Maya, but I have not yet received my email confirmation and cannot join any groups...I wonder how long that takes...I am LDS BTW...a friend on a few other forums invited me to a general Bible forum and although he is cool about my faith, others are definitely *not*...I don't want to be negative but no one wants to be judged...
