It all depends upon which side of the fence one sits. ;-)

Hey Jason, remember your post? Jan 21 2006, 01:22 PM "You are responsible for causing many problems here at LDSTALK. It's because of you that Please/Peace, a long time member of this board, left. Others here who are long time members stopped visiting because of the contention (which your faith teaches is of the Devil) you personally caused. You were banned two months ago. And yet, violating the rules of LDSTALK, you have returned under a new name. You are not setting a good example as a Latter-day Saint. GO AWAY!" _________________________________ Wrong again! LOL

All blaming statements, and totally innacurate. -

I don't believe I've been rude at all...nor would I categorize myself as being one of the worst here. And I've been on topic. :-) -
Just for the record...any "anti" stuffs presented here only makes my testimony that the Church is true that much stronger! I'd be happy to offer a pot luck dish, but you can't have my tithes. LOL
-
No, I'm not being rude...I wish you luck...whenever you can afford to move.
-
I wish you much luck in your new abode.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Jason has a new avatar..."G", for "Grumpy". LOL

No wonder people from other countries will risk death to come to America. I think people who are unhappy with America should change places with them.
-
LOL I forgot about the blocking on this forum. LOL It makes it look even worse that it was. LOL again! Thank goodness for some lighthearted moments! If America is a "so-called" Christian nation, it is because of the non-Christians.

So when would you like to be baptised, Brother Unorthodox? LOL

This is the definition of "apostate": Someone who abandons his religious faith (or party, etc) for another; I don't see the word "immoral" mentioned. I do believe that if one has truly abandoned their faith, they would give it up, be over and done with it, and not work so hard (many with a contentious spirit) to lead others away or convince believers not to believe. It's just a matter of respect and letting go, in my estimation.

I think I've lost the plot. It's interesting, the topic "Replying to An Understanding Of Apostates"...just how much of an understanding do apostates have about the LDS Church? And what is that understanding? That the LDS Church is untrue? If they believe themselves to be correct, and LDS to be incorrect, why not just let it lie and each go their own way and not try to convince the other otherwise?
-
No butts about it.
-
You're very welcome. :)

Syble, I see that you are familiar, as am I, with the assumption of presumption...or is that the presumption of assumption?! ;-)

I would never think of euthanizing a pet that wasn't dying. My friend has a hospice for cats, and she loves them all like her children. Everytime one of them dies, she grieves. Adoption is the best option!

Wisdom for this week Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Yep, I agree, Persians are finnicky creatures! First of all, either make it an inside or an outside cat, so as not to confuse him. (When he's outside, it's ok to initiate everything in sight!) If you make him an inside cat, confine him to one room for a week with his kitty basket (to sleep in) and his food and litter box. After this probation period, allow him to come out and explore, but keep him in the room overnight. After several weeks of this routine, he should get accustomed to it. Watch him closely to make sure he doesn't use areas of the house as his litter box. If he does, start the whole process again until he finally learns. In my experience, cats are as stubborn as 2 yr olds...I just happen to be more stubborn. ;-)

African Americans would dress accordingly. :-)

Of course, we no longer abide by the ancient law, "an eye for an eye". We don't sacrifice animals, or practice polygamy, or stone adulterous [women]. We don't separate our meat dishes from our milk dishes anymore, although some still practice that ritual. We observe the laws which are applicable to most...which society's laws are predicated upon: The Ten Commandments. A universal law is The Golden Rule.

You're welcome, Unorthodox. :-)

Amen, Ray! I understand you perfectly. ;-)

False member teachings are what cause many to go inactive. P.S. Nice to meet you too, Frenchy!
