  1. Exactly; as with any tool, it depends on how it is used. Does this mean you agree with me? LOL
  2. It puzzles me as to why non-LDS would try to convince LDS of their [non-LDS] concept about the Church.
  3. Mormonism may not be for everyone, but it is RIGHT anyway!
  4. Thanks, Ray.
  5. Did you know that when you point your finger at someone, three fingers point back in your direction?
  6. Have a banana!
  7. Hey, Jason...does that "G" stand for "Grinch"? LOL
  8. Hypothetically speaking, if the misconduct was reported to higher authorities, and the leader remained in his position, and the member was ostracized for this information being "leaked" by other sources...what then?
  9. Haha Thanks, Unorthodox.
  10. Although this is more the exception to the rule, how would one handle a criminal act committed by a priesthood leader? Are we required to support a leader who exercises unrighteous dominion? Or is it "amen" to the priesthood of that leader?
  11. There are some who are active in the Church who are not active in the gospel; some are active in the gospel, but not active in the Church. I think some members use the term "apostate" too quickly, to condemn those who are not on "the same page". Members of the Church are on a different level of activity in the gospel and in the Church. Apostates who are in "open rebellion" is a different matter. As far as criticizing our leaders...this presents a conflict. The contradiction is between confessing a grievance and being silenced.
  12. Yes, I am convinced of the truth! And yes, I did answer Dror...the information can be researched on AOL News, if Dror really wants to know. ;-)
  13. I suppose some would engage in such folly (disagreeing with facts). LOL
  14. People who are open to the truth don't need convincing. ;-) AOL is a source...and I quote other reference materials, too...ya want my list of 'em? LOL
  15. My findings were based upon the sisters' admittance to such.
  16. At Church, we re-read the scriptures and the words of the prophets...to instill in us the truthfulness of the gospel. In the forum, I quote Founders and Prophets...i.e., truthfulness.
  17. I did... AOL News. As per repetition...isn't that all we hear at Church? It's a matter of reiterating things which we might otherwise forget. ;-)
  18. Yes, I agree.
  19. Repetition = Learning = Knowledge This is the reason we go to Sunday school!
  20. Hey, what took ya so long to react, Jason?! ohhhhh this little light of miiiiiiiiiiine.................
  21. The truth will set you free. ;-) Thanks Ray...it's good to see that others believe as I do.
  22. AMERICAN CENTER FOR LAW AND JUSTICE 2006 is shaping up to be a pivotal one in the fight for your freedoms. With your support, we can meet head-on the high-stakes cases before us: We are working on preserving the federal partial-birth abortion ban, which is under fire from the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. (The Supreme Court of the United States is deciding whether to hear a Nebraska case which could settle the question.) We're involved in extensive legal battles to protect the Pledge of Allegiance with ''one nation under God'' included and our National Motto ''In God We Trust.'' (So far, activist lawyer Michael Newdow is winning. But we are headed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the Pledge case and to District Court in the National Motto case - and we'll go all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States if necessary!) We're going head-to-head with the ACLU to protect the public display of the Ten Commandments, most recently in a Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals case out of Mercer County, Kentucky (the court stung the ACLU in a biting, unanimous rebuke). We're working to protect your personal property rights, which were violated in the Supreme Court's Kelo v. New London ruling last term. We're fighting to protect your conscience - by defending Illinois pharmacists who lost their jobs because they refused to sell abortion pills to customers due to their religious beliefs. We're working to protect the rights of Christian chaplains in our U.S. military to pray in Jesus' name - after some have been pressured to stop, and official censorship of chaplains' prayers has been proposed! We are prepared to do everything necessary to protect life and liberty - and your constitutional freedoms - this year. That is why we need your help in a very real way. Our caseload and legislative work for 2006 could become the most challenging we have ever faced. American Center for Law and Justice P.O.
