  3. She moved there two years ago.. but Alicia Hanley. Do you know her?
  4. I would like to bring up another subject. The choking game. I found out today that one of my good friends died last night playing it. He was alone- his friends that were going to do it all couldn't. This game has hurt so many people. I never would have suspected Joe of doing it. He was always so happy and energetic. He was LDS and we had so much fun at stake dances and playing basketball at lunch. Its so weird thinking that he'll never be there agian, even though he was fine on Friday. I'll never have to watch out for him jumping up to get the ball. (he was only about 4feet but he stole the ball multiple times from my friend who's 5' 10"..) Don't play the game. It hurts too bad.
  5. Yeppers. Right by Show Low. My best friend lives in St. Johns.
  6. LOL! Yeah- AZ is far away from the beach. I live in the mountains of AZ so people here just go to the lakes and streams. (OR they hang out at wal-mart.. we're small-town folk! lol)
  7. I did it in 2 years as well. It was so much fun! (close call though- my goal was to get it done b4 i turned 14- I earned it the day before..) I loved it so much! I'm still doing one of my projects cuz i had so much fun doing it! I helped the Activity Day girls.. My testimony grew so much!

  9. I'm so confused. What about wearing pants?
  10. I like that quote. Thanks. & I'll definately try.
  11. I just got home from church where the talk in Sacrament meeting was about being prepared. I live in a small community in the forests of Arizona. In 2002 our community had a fire started near it, it was huge and we were evacuated. The forest service now says that our forests are drier now (in February) than they were during the fire (in June). We've already had one close call with a fire this year, but the forest service jumped on it and we were okay. The talk stated how we needed to be prepared. I honestly started panicking. My family has moved 3 times in the past year and my dad has been out of work the whole time. The church paid our rent ofr about 8 months and we have no money. When we moved we had to sell all of our year supply. We aren't prepared, but we have no way to get [prepared]. If we ever did get evacuated we would have no place to go. And if our community was burnt we would have absolutely no place to go. The thought of moving again tears me apart. I love my community and I love my friends. If our town was to burn down, nobody would try to rebuild it- we all live here because its gorgeous and the people are nice- if it burned down there would be too much work to go on. I'm not trying to be a doomsayer- but I'm truly worried. Worried about leaving my friends, being evacuated, having no year supply, worried SO much about fire. Please help me. Right now all I can do is put my faith in the Lord. I'm trying but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Worried
  12. Yes, that helped so much. They do seem to find it hard to talk to me, to anyone really, at all. I can only get information from when they are crying and saying how much they hate their lives. Other than that, they seem fine- but just those few hours each week (or so)... they need help. Thank you so much! I appreciate it tons!
  13. Who's Jack? I know Jill.. haha.. sorry, just trying to lighten up the mood a bit.
  14. I've had several friends who have cut, or tried to commit suicide. I'm asking you for help now~ What can I do to let my friends know that I love them and whenever they hurt themselves they hurt me? I can't stand how they come to school crying because they couldn't cut deep enough to kill, or they passed out before they managed to suffocate themselves completely. It hurts. I can't tell now if they really want to or if they just want attention. At first they wanted to. But I can't let them continue. As for you and your sister- God loves you- Jesus went through all the pain you are going through, why would you put yourself in more pain- its just more that he has to have bore. I love you- I don't know you, but you are children of God- so many people care about you- stop for them- ask for help for them- do it for yourself and for God and for all the others that care for you. I wish you luck and hope you find your answer.
  15. For Knowledge, hmmm... I don't remember what I did. Have you read the BoM? (as a project?) I know it's not really original, but it does help you progress and learn. Sorry I'm not more of a help. I'm lucky and am done with my PP. I would also suggest asking a Youth leader in your ward (Activity days, Scouts, w/e) if you could teach their troops something you already know. Girls generally like cooking, but if you're the outdoorsy-type teach the cubs how to .. knit.. haha jk, identify leaves or rocks or trees or somehting. With the planning and follow-up it takes about 10 hours I would imagine. (I did a party for the Activity Days girls, I went to the activities 2 times- cuz my party wasn't long enough!)
  16. O! HAHA! Thats great.. It took me awhile.. But I totally got there! heh-heh Another awesome site is: www.typalmer.com Go to the video-clips section. They are great! (Mkae sure and watch British Firemen, and How to Fold a Teeshirt. What old people do for fun is great too!)
  17. yeah, did you hear about the blonde coyote? it chewed three of its legs off and was still in a trap..
  18. Yeah cuz I've asked all my friends why they do, they put themselves through all this crud... and they say that it makes them feel special.. *eye roll* Woof it bothers me..
