You do not have to wear them in the shower or bath. I'm pretty sure you can take them off to go swimming. For everything else. You should leave them on. This includes when you go to bed at night. Brother Ray
-
But there still a chance for them to make it to the Celestial Kingdom. If, while they are in the spirit world, someone living does all the things necessary by proxy. Right?
-
Point #3 Are these men who had a body, where so righteous while on earth that when they died and became spirits they were not confined to the spirit world, or are these spirits who have not had a body yet. Kind of like the Holy Ghost. Brother Ray
-
You only have to be baptized to make it to the Celestial??? So down through the years there has been a lot of wasted Fount water. ( I know. Bad joke. I apologize.) :0) Brother Ray

rameumpton's post said Michael the archangel was an exalted being. I thought that meant he was flesh and bone. But come to think of it Michael had not been to earth, as Adam yet. So, I guess he couldn't have a flesh and bone body. Also Since everybody who was, is, and will be on this earth will have their bodies and spirits reunited. Then those who become Angels will have to be flesh and bone Angels. Right? Sometimes I don't think things out before I post Brother Ray

I didn't realize I had put it on the "How To" forum. Sorry. I wondered where it went ;0) Brother Ray
-
Thank you for that explanation. It makes sense to me.. just so you know I wasn't worried about the little g big G thing It was just another one of my many "I wonders" Brother Ray
-
So Michael was a flesh and bone Angel before he came to earth as Adam Those who are assigned to be Angels of God, because they are not going to become gods themselves. Come to earth first, then become Angels. So there are no spirit Angels? The Holy Ghost is Spirit. Would he be considered an Angel? What's the difference between Angels and Archangels? Would it, perhaps be like Archangels are at the top, and maybe Cherubs are at the bottom? Brother Ray

Yes I did mean 132. guess I thought 2, but struck 7. I read and understood all the other things, except the flesh and bone/spirit part. I just shortened it to ..."Will be appointed Angels of God." because I was too lazy to write it all out. Brother Ray

I have often wondered. For those who make it to the highest degree of glory. Will they become Gods or gods. Looks like D&C 132 verse 20 says they will be gods. Or could it be that we use gods when they are spoken of in the same thought with Heavenly Father. Kind of like the American flag always being flown higher than other flags. But when they rule and reign over a world then they will be called Gods. Brother Ray.

D&C 137 verse 17 ... will be appointed Angels of God. That doesn't sound like too bad of a way to end up. I wonder. For those who become Angels. Will they be Spirit body Angels, or flesh and bone Angels?

Excommunication in the spirit world.

No special reason really. Sometimes I wonder if, I wonder what, or I wonder why questions just pop into my head. It has nothing to do with thinking someone died that should have been Excommunicated or anything like that. Thanks for the reference to the scriptures. I'm going to look them up now. Brother Ray Thank you for leading me to D&C 132. It brought to mind a couple more I wonder thoughts. -
You say your not an expert. I think you're selling yourself short. Extensive genealogy, and Temple Work, certainly qualifies you in my book. :0) I'm a little mixed up. Maybe I misread something. In your other post you said We should not have parents that were divorced sealed to each other. Or words to that effect. In this post you say Parent have to be sealed in order to seal the kids. So if my parents are not worthy to be sealed than I'm just out of luck? I have already written off my mom and step dad being sealed But after my mom and dad divorced. They became very close friends. Would that make any difference? Hope you don't mind me asking these questions. If you want you can tell me to go ask my Bishop. ;0) Brother Ray

Excommunication in the spirit world.

I should have known that. In 1970 I spent 6 months in county jail, in Ocala Fla. On a road crew. We filled pot holes and sealed cracks. No joke Brother Ray -

Excommunication in the spirit world.

You're right. I don't think I've ever heard the word sealings used outside of the church. Thanks Vort. Is there anything you don't know? ;0) Brother Ray. -
I think I understand. I just thought, maybe in the spirit world, they would all remember the love they first had for each other. Now you're saying anybody that has been divorced should not be sealed. But if they were to be sealed it could only be the biological parents. Right? Brother Ray.

I'll be right back. I'm gonna go Google Bini Brother Ray Okay. I'm back from Google. It means a group of people from Nigeria, who drive BMWs. Right? Then it means a group of filipano people from Nigeria who drive BMWs

Excommunication in the spirit world.

I thought of that too. Doesn't seem too feasible. Does it? Besides. If someone was to commit an excommunicatable sin in the Spirit world/ prison All Heavenly Father would need to do would be to reroute their final destination ;-) Brother Ray -

I saw the mistake you pointed out. But spelling it correctly sealings still gets the red line. sealing doesn't get the red line, only sealings I wonder if it means that sealing is both singular and plural, like deer? Brother Ray -

Wait a minute? It's not ceilings, like the tops of rooms. It's sealings like to be sealed together. Wait. I get it. I asked how else would you spell sealings, and ceilings is another way. You gave me exactly what I asked for ;0) Brother Ray -
After you've passed on and you are in the spirit world/prison, can you still be excommunicated? If so I don't imagine we would be excommunicated for our actions. Because we can't really do much. Which is why we need proxies, for baptism, endowments and eealings.* But. What about thoughts, that would be actions, if we were able? I think the answer is no. But still, I'm curiious. Brother Ray * My Tiny spell, says I spelled sealings wrong. How else would you spell it?
