i use to live in utah, and i remember doing that also...we loved it. i am now in cleveland and they dont seem to do it here which is sad...i think next year i will start it and see what happenes.the church did how ever send out this really cute poem. Being a Christian is alot like a pumpking. Christ comes and picks you up dusts you off and makes you clean. he then tuches you inside with his love and kindness and scrapes out all the yuck and seeds of anger, hate, and unkindness. he then carves a butifull smile and puts his light inside for all the world to see.

when you "conscience" tells you, you really want to do this...but the holly ghost says thats not what you should do...ex: i wanted to stay home it felt right i had things there for me a job friend etc. but i couldnt get the other thought of you should go out of my head either...so i prayed and the holy ghost conferemed that i was suppose to go...so here i am in ohio and not sure why just doing so becuase i trust the holy ghost more than i trust my own thoughts... if that makes sense, i hope so :)

Thank you again. What are some good places to look offline? Is Wal-Mart, Target, or similar stores good places to find dresses? Also, I'm searching on a budget. yes those stores r fine...and it doesnt have to actually be a dress dress...i wear a skirt and blouse/shirt all the time

i have found i can buy almost anything as long as i have a undershirt... like i have 3 long ones, blake and white are a must and then i have a gray one too and then i have a few short sleeved ones...again with the blake and white a must...and then i have like an aqua one and a brown one and of course a pink one...that way u can take something cute and imodest and make it modest, it works really well for me.

i think people read way to much into what the prophets have said about that...My mom had a hard time with it herself untill someone showed her what the talk really said. It doesnt say you HAVE to be a stay at home mom to be a good LDS woman. it advises you to stay home with your children unless absalutly nessisary. in this womans point and my mothers it was. they needed to work to support there family. what the prophet was advizing is that if you are already well of and can support your family well with just your husband working then do that, instead of the woman also working so they can afford a boat or a summer home. that is becomeing more worldy and not so much concern for the whelfare of there children... it is sad to me that so many people dont understand that, that the mother has to work. there is a difference between have to and she just wants to. but some people dont see that If that made any sense, sorry sometimes my mind thinks faster and i dont know how to say what im thinking
