  1. We are just learning to stop and look both ways for cars. So I guess tell him that Quincy didn't look and he is forever gone. Is that ok? Is that bad? I just don't know. I just can't think straight. Gonna be a lonnnnnnng night I think.

 That seems a little dramatic...

Oooohhh, there'll be trouble brewing at the Castle Palerider in a few years then!! :)

my oldest daughter and her hubby and my grandaughter live in Kansas...thats like 7hrs away....my daughter is due in July....I do try to spoil her when I get to see her....

  3. It is hard to get the youth to come out really. There are a few, but mostly they are invisable. I met a few in chat though when I was looking for friends.

I am not a youth anymore, but my name is Desire, and I am 18, and I love making new friends as well!!! :D

Lol. I just thought it was interesting. I learned that when I went to the hill Camora(sp?). TONS of anti's there, which in my opinion was dumb. They were probably there hours before the first members were.

well you sure have done alot of things for your 1year in the church...

My whole family is pretty hard core...

My dad and grandpa both have OCD.

    They breathe church...

so if your not a member why get involved.....

    Involved with what?

    1. I was a member.

    2. It is my dad and my grandpa, who I love very much

    3. I went on the trip when I was a member, and it was a lot of fun, and the stage was awesome!

  5. Haha. Most youth have this problem.

I dated for the first time when I was 13, but that was WAY BEFORE I joined the church. After that I did my best to wait, which was REALLY HARD!

Anyway. I kinda wish I waited.

You don't really need that drama right now, and boy is it drama!!!

Besides, chances are you will get married in your early twenties, and will never be single again. ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS!

  7. "Joseph publicly announced that he had found the plates the day of after Moroni's first visit. False."

Some anti mormons actually believe that it wasn't until he was 21 that anyone knew about it.

I think that is silly, but how would I know?

"Joseph placed the plates in the darkness of a hat so he could read their spiritual light. False. We have no indication that Joseph read the plates while they sat in a hat."

    Where is Maureen?

She gave me a link to a site with BYU essays.

In those essays, students researched that he and his father were gold diggers, and also that he would read out of his hat to block the sunlight.

That is just what it said in essays from other members of the church though. That just means that not all members believe this false.

"When Joseph placed the seer stones into the hat with the plates, the ancient letters lit up and changed into English enabling him to read the words to Harris. False. We have no indication from Joseph or the witnesses that this was the method whereby the Urim and Thummim operated."

    Same as above.

  8. I cannot speak for all Christians, but most I speak with would answer the same. Dr. T stated the LDS belief well, that Jesus is Eternal (He has always existed and always will) and He has Eternally been God and He came into this world and took upon Himself the human condition. This has been the LDS teaching from Joseph Smith to current, it has never even slightly moved. It is the founding principle of Mormonism, it is on the front page of the Book of Mormon. Jesus didn't progress from non-existance to existance, from ungodly to godly, from non-god to God. Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God. He is the Great 'I Am'.

I was always told that he was out perfect bigger brother. That he was just like us in a way...

I was not taught that he was God, but that he spoke for God in the beginning of the bible.
